PEG-Clear™

Patients who are unable to swallow due to traum-
atic injury, Alzheimer's disease, cancer, or other
critical illnesses often require long-term Percutan-
eous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tubes for
feeding, me-dication, and/or decompression. PEG
tubes are inserted surgically, through the stomach
wall, by a doctor.

Over time, PEG tubes can become obstructed—leaving patients without medication for hours or days if the clog is not cleared. Actuated Medical has developed a revolutionary device that clears PEG clogs quickly, safely, and effectively. PEG-Clear™ uses our Innovative Motion technology, a mechanical motion that chips away the clog while the tube remains in the patient. The need to replace, remove, and/or reinsert the PEG tube is eliminated.
